Fearless Journey Solitaire
The Fearless Journey game is designed for real teams, with explicit team goals.
But what about change leaders, coaches, managers – who influence change across many teams… but without a team of their own?
Here are instructions to use the Fearless Change influence patterns together with existing “mapping” exercises to spark new thinking. If you do not have a team yet, or when you are new to a role, these can help you think creatively (and start building your own tribe of allies!)
You can also use them as a facilitated exercise with a team, of course!
Circles and Soup – when you have too many problems, for example, at the end of a retrospective.
Impact/Effort Grid – to help you choose, when there are too many possible actions – on a new job, after a retrospective, or after playing Fearless Journey.
Stakeholder Analysis – to understand the human landscape of your work, and identify key players whose influence can hasten or slow your progress.

Linda –
I love to hear your work on the Agile Mindset! As a consultant and trainer who is always seeking to transform organizations, I constantly struggle with this issue. I’m excited to see your new information and games on the topic!
I also have three daughters who–at least 2 out of 3–I have failed by not getting to adopt the agile mindset in many ways. I’m hoping to change that for, if not them, others that I can still impact. I’m working to help my consulting organization (BECteam.com / BECgivesback.org) work with groups like Girl DevelopIT to move the needle on this problem. I look forward to understanding more about how I can help you spread the message.
